We Moved to Cirque at Victory Park

We moved from the hood. Sooooooooooooo sad. We love our home (which the boys have named the party house). Party house because of all the events, but also because we have sooooooooo much fun at the party house!!! What an awesome lifestyle to raise boys. They played basketball, baseball, football, ping pong, hockey, rode bikes, jumped in jumpolene and so much more all inside the house.

Now we have moved into a high rise next door to the American Airlines Center and the W Hotel. Since our move is temporary (a few months) we are leasing a small place (at least very small compared to our previous home) on the ninth floor of Cirque at Victory Park (click here to see Cirque).

We had a big lifestyle adjustment and it took awhile to so, but once we got comfortable in our new neighborhood and got a great routine going we were just living it up.

We moved in March and it was still cold, we even had another snow day. There were lots of days that were very very windy and on those days the maintance workers would gather all the lounge cushions on the pool deck and stack them into a large pile in a corner area so they would not blow off the roof. Of course it did not take long for the boys to discover the fun of a big pile of cushions. I wish I had gotten so great video of all the fun, . . . here is one of the few I did get.

I do love the City and enjoy the Dallas City Skyline - it is so much a part of me and the boys. At times when I videod the boys I tried to capture them playing with the city skyline in the background. Here is one when they were playing with their dinosaurs; they brought me in their playroom to see their display of dinosaurs in the window - so I grabbed the camera.

There were lots of days that the boys would busy playing with their toys while I did a few chores and I would grab a camera to take some pics or video without them noticing. Here are a couple of fun times of play.

Boys Making a Splashing Mess

After a fun time playing in the dirt and mud I asked to boys to go inside and clean up while did a few chores. Of course, like everything they do, cleaning up had to be lots of fun and lots more work for mom.

Decker enjoys painting

Decker decided to have lots and lots of fun painting. Afterwards he had lots and lots of fun running from mommy - I was trying to catch him so I could clean him up before he painted the whole house.

Fun times riding skuut and playing outside

Here are a couple of videos from some of the fun the boys had today.

Snow Day Fun

Here are a few pictures taken with my phone. The snow keep coming and coming; so much that we went out and built a snow fort. What fun that was. Sooooo sweet to see the boys rolling little balls of snow into giant balls. There were time all of us could not even get the giant snowballs to move. When we all got too cold to play anymore and ahead back inside, Decker decided it would be fun to stop and play in a puddle of melted snow. Here is a video taken with my phone

Here is a picture of Baily's face as it was puffing up from the allergic nut reaction.

It Snowed and Snowed and Snowed

Lots and lots of snow here in Dallas. Boys had so much fun playing in all the snow and throwing snowballs at me. The first day we built a snowman. We tried used some old mixed party nuts to make Frosty's face but then we had to rush Baily to the hospital because he had an awful allergic reaction to a nut. Baily was great the whole time. He still talks about how his face blew up like a puffer fish.

Another day we built a snow fort. Even had a nice snowball fight with Nicholas and Dave Decker who flew in from Florida.

Here are a few videos of some of the fun in the snow.

Videos of Boys Winter Fun

When it is too cold out to tire out the boys lucky us we can play inside too.

Christmas Treats and Fun

Boys had a great time making their Gingerbread House, Train and cookies this year. There was more eating frosting and less throwing candy balls this time.
